New Orleans Weather In July
It’s no secret! The weather in July in New Orleans is warm and humid. The average high daytime temperature is 32 ⁰C / 90⁰F, but it can go higher. The average low temperature (night time and early morning) is 24⁰C / 75⁰F. Afternoon rain and clouds help to cool things off. Daytime humidity ranges from 56% to 82%.
What To Wear
All buildings in New Orleans are heavily air conditioned in the summer, so you will want to have a light jacket, wrap or sweater for indoors, just in case you get too chilly. Light, casual clothing is appropriate for outdoors.
Most of our Wednesday afternoon tours will spend some time outdoors. We recommend light clothing for all outdoor activities, as well as a hat. We also recommend liberal use of sun block. Hydration is important during hot weather, and we will make sure that plenty of water is available to our guests. Check the description of each tour in case there are other instructions.View more detailed information about New Orleans weather during ICS!
